About Thoughtful
A Pastoral Care approach
Thoughtful is a Melbourne-based practice run by Glenda – a Pastoral Supervisor with a deep heart for pastoral care and a commitment to an authentic response of a lived-out-faith in God’s world.
She is also passionate about supporting those working in pastoral ministries. Her pastoral Supervision practice through Thoughtful seeks to offer collaborative space for reflection and maturing of work practices, focusing both on the ministry, and on the person that you are in your ministry context.
At Thoughtful, effective supervision revolves around intentional conversations that move toward the integration of purpose, values, identity and faith. Glenda values the resourcefulness of faith, supports mindful boundaries and believes that good supervision builds sustainability in us all.

Glenda’s background
Glenda‘s supervision and counselling practice has been grounded by 40 years experience of pastoral care ministry in a variety of contexts – tertiary students, faith-based women’s and family ministries, parish church work, government secondary school chaplaincy, hospital pastoral care, and clergy wives’ support.

Her experiences have only deepened her understanding of, and passion for establishing good care of others. They have also grown an informed respect for the pressures and joys of being a person in ministry.
In recent years, Thoughtful has come into being to serve the dream of working together to strengthen & support your ministry work in a welcoming space.
